Locations
A location is a point in the world where a job does something. Create it from the job’s Locations tab: stand where it should be, press Use my position, choose the kind and fill in its settings.
Every location has:
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | Shown to players. Empty uses the kind’s own name |
| Radius | How close a player must be, in metres |
| Minimum rank | Members below this rank cannot use it |
| Active | An inactive location stays configured but does nothing |
| Marker, blip, ped, prop | How it looks in the world |
| On duty only | Only employees on duty can use it (most kinds) |
Note: the kind cannot be changed after creation. Delete the location and create it again.
Kinds
| Kind | What it does | Main settings |
|---|---|---|
| Boss | Boss menu: staff, ranks, wages, company account, laundering | What the menu allows: hire and dismiss, change ranks, deposit, withdraw, see the books, laundering, maximum withdrawal, maximum wage |
| Stash | Storage | Slots, weight limit, one per employee or shared, on duty only |
| Armory | Items employees take | Items, slots, weight limit; free, or charged at the listed prices |
| Shop | Items players buy | Items and prices, paid in cash, bank or dirty money |
| Market | Buys items from players | Items, price each, maximum per cycle, paid in; company’s share of each sale; open to everybody or employees only |
| Garage | Job vehicles | Kind: shared vehicles, their own vehicles or vehicles they buy; vehicles per rank, colours, plate, spawn and return points, keys, limit at once, remove abandoned vehicles |
| Vehicle shop | Buy vehicles | Vehicles and prices, paid by the company or the player, rank needed to spend company money, delivery point |

| Duty | Clock in / clock out | Tell the job, clocking out only |
| Crafting | Make items from recipes | Recipes (ingredients and results), animation |
| Harvest | Gather items | Yields with chance, min and max; required item (spent or just carried); duration, cooldown, repeat on its own |
| Processing | Turn items into other items | Inputs, outputs, duration; run several batches at once |
| Weapon upgrader | Weapon attachments and skins | Allowed parts, price adjustment, who pays, rank needed |
| Billing | Invoices | Ready-made reasons, ceiling per invoice, company’s share |
| Teleport | Moves players to another point | Destination, fade to black, required item |
Weapon attachments
The parts offered by weapon upgraders are listed in config/items.lua, one list per inventory, because the item names differ (at_suppressor_light on ox_inventory, suppressor_attachment on qb-inventory…). A point can narrow the list but never add to it.
Prices live on the server: the client only sends which option it picked, so prices cannot be tampered with.
attachments = {
ox_inventory = {
{ item = 'at_suppressor_light', price = 500, label = 'Suppressor (Pistol)' },
{ item = 'at_flashlight', price = 200, label = 'Flashlight' },
-- ...
},
qb_inventory = { ... },
},
Public locations
Public locations in the panel are points that belong to no job and are visible to everyone.
Undo
Deleting a location is recorded in the history, and it can be restored from there (needs audit.database.locations = true).
